Metlifecare, which manages 17 retirement villages up and down the country, was experiencing pressing software licensing and hardware upgrade issues and needed to develop an ICT strategy, which matched its ICT plan to its business plan.

By following Gen-i’s Planning for Strategic Investment (PSI) framework, Metlifecare adopted a strategic technology framework to help secure its own future.

 

The result

Following the PSI framework, has enabled Metlifecare to put its software licensing in order, refresh its server fleet and to plan future upgrades of its key applications. The structured PSI process has enabled the company to tidy up its systems after a period of expansion, preparing it for expected ongoing rationalisation of the aged care sector.

Metlifecare is moving towards a more collaborative IT environment with greater ability to interrogate data, as it seeks to use data to enhance its ability to be successful next month, next year, and beyond.
