As it expands its international client base, Auckland-based CNS Treasury needed to host its web-based hedge accounting software solution in an environment that offered the security, flexibility and scalability required to attract more users.
CNS Treasury initially hosted the software in-house, but recognised it was essential to offer customers the extra assurance of having the offering located in a data centre purpose-built to ensure the service ran uninterrupted and easily scalable for the potential increase in users.
CNS Treasury's software was migrated onto a cloud solution, hosted on Gen-i’s ReadyCloud Server platform.
With ReadyCloud Server hosted in one of Gen-i's Tier 3+ data centres, which have a proven availability of 99.995 %, they can now provide the same service-level agreement to their customers as they receive from Gen-i.
And with their server management now outsourced, they have been able to minimise their own requirements for in-house IT support which has reduced their costs and allowed them to redirect these precious resources elsewhere.
With Gen-i hosting its service, CNS Treasury can now focus on growing their business and meeting their customer needs.
The flexibility the cloud-based service offers has enabled them to step up their export efforts by offering the software to overseas clients as a monthly subscriber service hosted.
In particular, with the security and reliability the ReadyCloud Server platform provides, CNS Treasury is able to meet the strict security standards of US-based clients.
