Today Telecom and the Ministry of Economic Development (MED) have published a range of documents that provide further information on the structure of New Zealand’s telecommunications industry in the event that Telecom structurally separates.

You’ll be aware that we've proposed to separate into two separate businesses; with New Chorus being a stand-alone entity that will participate in the roll out of the UFB initiative.

A few weeks ago we released details about what services New Chorus is likely to be offering and what products Retail Service Providers (RSPs) can take as their inputs to help them develop their own products for customers.

Today, we have provided details on how our assets will be divided between the two new companies, and what happens to our Undertakings on Operational Separation.
