Gen-i Events

Our Gen-i events and hospitality programmes are designed to bring our clients, people and partners together to share ideas, network and discuss how information and communication technologies can assist in achieving business outcomes.

This is our ICT insights programme where experts will:

» Share global ICT trends and their impact on business outcomes
» Outline the opportunities faster connectivity, such as fibre, can provide to businesses

New Zealand fibre providers – Chorus and UltraFast Fibre, Enable (in their respective regions) will provide an update to their latest developments.

We will be visiting 12 locations around New Zealand (Invercargill, Dunedin, Christchurch, Nelson, Wellington, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Napier, Tauranga, Hamilton, and Whangarei) over February 2012. We will advise of the Auckland date soon.

Gen-i ICT Conference 2012 Week One Highlights

FWD_Live includes a series of short presentations followed by a panel discussion where you can question the experts yourself. This programme will appeal to Business Managers, General Managers and IT Managers.

Following on from the FWD_Live programme is our technical session Bizgo, where Gen-i’s key partners will:

» Present their latest devices and IT solutions
» Provide live demonstrations and specifications

Bizgo provides a networking session where you will have the opportunity to discuss your ICT requirements directly with participating technology partners (which includes Cisco, Microsoft, HP, Motorola, Nokia, and TrendMicro). This programme will appeal to technical IT Managers and decision makers.

IPANZ Awards 2012

Gen-i is once again proud to be the Lead Sponsor for the 2012 IPANZ Awards. The 2012 IPANZ Gen-i Public Sector Excellence Awards recognise and reward outstanding performances and work achievements of organisations and project teams in the New Zealand public sector.

Roadshow

The Gen-i nationwide roadshow will be making its way around the country once again in November 2011. With top notch guest speakers and the latest updates and products in the ICT world, this is one event you don’t want to miss.

Radar Plus

Gen-i’s Radar Plus events are designed to keep our clients updated on the hot ICT and business topics right now and those that are looming large in the near future.

At Radar Plus you will hear about the latest business news and views presented by compelling speakers from within New Zealand and overseas and then you will hear about the role ICT can play in assisting your organisation with key business issues.
