Gen-i was a top winner at the New Zealand Microsoft Partner Awards on 17 November held at the Viaduct Events Centre.  The team won the Reseller of the Year Award, the Unified Communications Solution of the Year, and the Desktop Deployment Solution of the Year.

The awards are designed to recognise and reward Microsoft Gold, Certified and Small Business Specialist partners in the New Zealand partner community that have delivered exemplary and innovative solutions using Microsoft technologies to address customer's business challenges.

Darryn Keiller, Head of Procurement Services for Gen-i, said winning these awards is a significant achievement and a testament to the individual and collective efforts of the team.

"As a group, these awards give recognition to our ongoing market leadership with Microsoft, not just as a reseller of licenses, but as a provider of Microsoft-based customer solutions for business," said Keiller.

Microsoft New Zealand's Chris Ichter, Director Small, Midmarket Solutions & Partners Group, said that the Microsoft Partner Awards gives Microsoft an opportunity to recognise the fantastic work its partners develop for their clients over the year.

"It was very exciting to see a number of first-time entries this year, and as usual, the high calibre of entries certainly made the judging process very difficult."
