Matthew retains his role at Gen-i as Business Solution Specialist/IT Solutions Specialist.
He will be working with The ICEHOUSE to set a three year IT strategic Plan, and oversee its implementation. A key activity for the CIO will be engagement with The ICEHOUSE partner group which includes HP, Microsoft, Telecom, Boston Consulting Group, Ernst & Young, The University of Auckland Business School and Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, to enable the ICEHOUSE to achieve its IT vision.
The ICEHOUSE recognised that in order to deliver the objectives set by the business that an IT Strategic Plan needed to be developed. The successful appointment of someone from the partner group is a fantastic outcome in terms of knowledge and talent transfer within the partnership.
William Graham, Gen-i client executive, said this is a great opportunity for Gen-i to further support The ICEHOUSE by providing the expertise of a truly talented ICT professional.
“This is a win-win for all concerned. The ICEHOUSE now has access to Matthew’s extensive experience in developing IT solutions to meet business needs. Gen-i has also benefited by furthering its commitment to helping small New Zealand enterprises transform their businesses and providing Matthew with an excellent professional development opportunity,” he said.
Andrew Hamilton, CEO of The ICEHOUSE commented, “The ICEHOUSE is delighted with the support from Gen-i. We see great opportunity for Gen-i and the wider partner group to make a big difference to the ICEHOUSE and most importantly to our customers, the owner manager firms in New Zealand. We all know productivity in our country needs to lift, and with the best and most relevant technology solutions provided via Gen-i this will help achieve a big part of the productivity goal.”
