As General Manager for Professional Services, Murray leads the teams that aim to help Gen-i clients achieve real business value from their ICT investments.  He is accountable for project excellence for our Enterprise clients and owns the design, build and deliver functions internally in our business.  In addition, Murray is responsible for the delivery of most of our field services to Gen-i clients nationwide.

Murray is responsible for a number of divisions, including Davanti, Gen-i’s independent business consultancy which combines in-depth industry expertise, practical tools and innovative thinking to assist organisations to align their business and technology investments with strategic objectives.   He also manages Gen-i’s training organisation, Auldhouse, which helps clients maximise their investment in current technologies and he leads Gen-i’s strategic partnership with Infosys.

Prior to joining Gen-i, Murray was CIO at Vodafone. There he managed operations and IT functions, with a particular focus on driving continuous improvement and managing organisational change.  Prior to that he led and built professional services organisations and was a managing partner at Arthur Andersen, New Zealand.

Murray has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury and is professionally qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
